Gomukh, Gangotri - India

The Ganges River has many currents that gradually fit together. Being the most famous Gomukh, located 23 km northeast of Gangotri.

Here we see a mountain in the form of Siva Lingam of 6543 meters in height, this mountain represents the Lord Siva. Devotees of Lord Shiva especially going to this place to perform austerities.
The small stone Siva Lingams are worshiped in many temples for their devotees, but in this place the Siva Lingam is a whole mountain.
